Massman and HNTB Gives Update on the New Champ Clark Bridge

   Massman Construction Company, gave an update to the Hwy 54 Coalition and Elected Officials on Friday, August 3rd with a tour of the new bridge construction.

 The new Champ Clark Bridge is still scheduled to be completed by the Fall of 2019.

Hwy 54 Coalition Met In IL For Coalitions Monthly Meeting

From Mexico, MO to Louisiana, MO our residents and the traveling public need A BETTER 54.  A shared four-lane highway is being proposed by a group of concerned citizens to help this happen.  This site is designed to answer your questions.

Northeast Missouri needs to complete its extension of the US 54 corridor by upgrading it to a shared four-lane highway to support economic development, provide safer travel and provide more efficiency.

The Hwy 54 Coalition meeting was hosted by the IL Economic Development Director/Board.The meeting was attended by both MO & IL Federal, State & County representatives.

Missouri Proposition D - MO Gas Tax

Shall Missouri law be amended to fund Missouri state law enforcement by increasing the motor fuel tax by two and one half cents per gallon annually for four years beginning July 1, 2019, exempt Special Olympic, Paralympic, and Olympic prizes from state taxes, and to establish the Emergency State Freight Bottleneck Fund?

    If passed, this measure will generate at least $288 million annually to the State Road Fund to provide for the funding of Missouri state law enforcement and $123 million annually to local governments for road construction and maintenance.
